Worship

We have many ways to worship and praise.

  • Sunday Worship: A traditional worship service
  • Taizé Sung Prayers: Taizé is an ecumenical, religious community in France with a distinctive style of music. Taizé worship consists of simple choruses, which are repeated many times and are often accompanied by instruments and vocal solos. Interspersed between the music are prayers, scripture and periods of silence. Communion, prayers for healing, and the lighting of candles are also offered at each service. The meditative Taizé worship services are open to all people and are a wonderful way to connect with God in the midst of a busy week. Rev. Tish Bowman leads our Taizé services. Meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm, excluding June, July, and August.

  • Jazz Vespers: Sophisticated but not stuffy, urban and inclusive, comfortable yet reverent, Jazz Vespers is meant for jazz and worship lovers of all ages. Held in the sanctuary the third Saturday of every month from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, Jazz Vespers is a unique opportunity to kick off an evening on the town or to unwind from a hectic week. Rev. Tish Bowman leads our Jazz services. Meets the third Saturday of the month at 6:00 pm, excluding June, July, and August. Click here for this seasons schedule.
